9 Interesting Disney Movie Facts

For this list, we have chosen 9 interesting pieces of Disney movie trivia.

#1 Bruce from Finding Nemo was named after the great white shark from Jaws. On the set of Jaws, Steven Spielberg referred to the robot shark as Bruce, which was the name of his lawyer.









#2 Wall-E was named after Walter Elias Disney, a.k.a., Walt Disney.











#3 Aladdin's looks were based on the looks of Tom Cruise.











#4 The "Edinburgh Trader" ship that was destroyed by the Kraken in Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest was destroyed in real life by Hurricane Sandy.






#5 The characters in Frozen were named in honor of Hans Christian Andersen, writer of fairy tales and stories. The characters are named Hans, Kristoff, Anna, and Sven.








#6 Rapunzel and Flynn Rider are both seen in the early party scenes of Frozen.










#7 The animator of "the Beast" went to a zoo for his inspiration, and combined the horns and head of a buffalo, the mane of a lion, the eyebrows of a gorilla, the upper body of a bear, the legs and tail of a wolf, and the tusks of a boar.








#8 Disney's Robin Hood took scenes directly from other Disney movies such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, The Aristocats, and The Jungle Book and changed the characters. Check out the video of it below.
