Man, those were the days. She has done a few things here and there, but has not really been in much for years. This may be due to, among other reasons, her face lift...
#2 Hugh GrantSpeaking of romantic comedy actors who fell of the face of the earth, remember Hugh Grant? He was in Notting Hill, Two Weeks Notice, Music and Lyrics, Love Actually, Bridget Jones, Sense and Sensibility...and now? Almost nothing. Similar to Meg Ryan, he has done a few things since those days, but for the most part, we haven't seen much of him in the last 8 years or so.
Cuba is still in movies today, but none that are big. He was a was a pretty big star for a few years there starring in Jerry McGuire, Pearl Harbor, Men of Honor, Outbreak, and others. But as his career started heading towards Snow Dogs and Radio, things really started slowing down for him, and we haven't seen him in a big weekend movie in a long time.
#4 Helen HuntAfter a seven year run on Mad About You, in the year 2000, Helen was in Pay It Forward, Cast Away, and What Women Want right in a row. Who could forget her work in Twister? You may even remember her from As Good As It Gets. However, she has all but disappeared from mainstream Hollywood, and we haven't seen her in anything big for years.
More than anyone on the list, Gene has fallen off the face of the earth. Not only is he not starring in big movies, he has quit acting, and has not been in one thing since 2004. He finished his acting career with Behind Enemy Lines, Runaway Jury, and Welcome To Newport. We also know him from Enemy of the State, Crimson Tide, The Firm, Superman, and Hoosiers. Who knows? Maybe we will see him in another movie in the coming years.
#6 Rick Moranis
Remember Ghostbusters and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and Spaceballs? What about the Flintstones, Little Giants, or My Blue Heaven? Classics, eh? Well where the heck has he been? Who knows, because he hasn't been in one thing since 2006. Maybe they will make "Honey, My Career Ended Prematurely" in 2015.
Oh Josh, so hot in 2001. And then we all immediately forgot he existed I think. Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down were huge. Then, he did Hollywood Homicide, and then fell off the face of the earth. Poor Josh. He is still acting, just not in anything that anyone sees or likes.
#8 Val Kilmer
Val what at his peak in 1986 with Top Gun, and I honestly believe his career has been on a downturn since that year. Sure, we may have seen the Saint, Batman Forever, and even Deju Vu. But he has all but disappeared from our movie screens after that.
Bridget Jones Diary, Jerry McGuire, Cinderella Man, Chicago, Cold Mountain, and the Bachelor. You may have even seen her in Leatherheads. But, she hasn't been in a movie since 2010. She was on the major star list for years, and has kind of disappeared. This may be due to similar reasons that Meg Ryan disappeared.
